A Louisville man is facing various charges after crashing during a multi-agency pursuit in Allen County.
At approximately 9 a.m. Thursday, Kentucky State Police alerted the Scottsville Police Department and Allen County Sheriff’s Office to a vehicle pursuit entering the county, according to a news release.
Police said the pursuit involved a 2025 Corvette driven by 18-year-old Tony Martin Jr. of Louisville.
Martin eventually lost control of the vehicle on Old Glasgow Road, resulting in a single-vehicle crash, according to the release. He did not sustain any injuries and was arrested without incident.
Authorities said a Scottsville Police Department K9 was deployed and indicated a positive alert for drugs in the vehicle. Additionally, police said Martin had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Jefferson County for failing to appear.
Martin was lodged in the Allen County Detention Center on the following charges:
First-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle)
Possession of marijuana
Reckless driving
Disregarding stop sign
Speeding
First-degree wanton endangerment (police officer)
Operating on a suspended or revoked license
Failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance (first offense)
Failure to appear (warrant service)
Kentucky State Police, the Scottsville Police Department and the Allen County Sheriff’s Office were all involved in the arrest.
