
A small earthquake was felt in central Kentucky early Sunday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 2.8 magnitude earthquake struck around 3:41 a.m. just six miles south of Nicholasville.
It came less than 24 hours a 4.1 magnitude earthquake shook parts of east Tennessee but was felt in south and southeastern Kentucky.
Several areas affected by the quake were High Bridge, Danville, Richmond and Frankfort.
No injuries were reported.
