
The U.S. Small Business Administration announced that a Business Recovery Center will be opening in Hardin County to help small businesses, nonprofits and residents affected by the recent severe storms.
The center will be opening at the Kentucky State Police post on Cameron Ponder Drive in Elizabethtown on Tuesday, May 13, according to the release.
Representatives will be available to answer questions about the disaster loan program and the application process.
Officials said any damage caused by the severe storms after April 2 is eligible to be covered.
The Business Recovery Center will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The deadline to file applications for physical property damage is June 23, 2025. The deadline to file economic injury applications is January 26, 2026.
