Louisville police have arrested a 23-year-old after they say she encouraged a shooting at a Taylor Berry Wendy’s.
Carrington Bagwell is charged with one count of second-degree assault in connection to a January 4 shooting in the parking lot of a Wendy’s on Taylor Boulevard.
Police claim Bagwell had approached a man while trying to regain control of her dog that had gotten loose. Bagwell and the man got into an argument about her dog. Bagwell then left to go home and told another person about the argument.
Court documents allege Bagwell and the unnamed second person went back to the Wendy’s parking lot where the second person shot the man Bagwell had fought with multiple times. Bagwell and the second person reportedly left the scene and returned home.
Police said they identified Bagwell as a suspect after obtaining video from nearby the incident and interviewing witnesses.
Bagwell was arrested May 12. She is expected in court for arraignment May 13.
