A man is in the hospital after a shooting in the Portland neighborhood Monday, May 12.
Louisville police said around 7:15 p.m., officers were called to the 100 block of North 30th Street where they found a man who had been shot in the leg. He was taken to UofL Hosptial where he is being treated for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
Trevor Thompson, 32, was arrested in connection to the shooting and charged with one count of second-degree assault. According to court documents, the shooting happened after an argument between family members broke out.
LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating.
