Two men are facing multiple charges after police executed a search warrant at a residence.
On May 14, Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies, with the help of the Tompkinsville Police Department and Kentucky State Police, executed a search warrant at the home of Danny Lee Sheffield on Sulphur Lick Road.
During the search, law enforcement found 12 grams of methamphetamine, numerous baggies, meth pipes, scales, narcotic pills, marijuana, three handguns and $2,664 in cash.
Sheffield was arrested for the following:
Trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
Possession of a controlled substance
3rd degree drug unspecified
Drug paraphernalia
Possession of marijuana
Christopher Deweese, from Metcalfe County, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine).
Both men were lodged in the Barren County Jail.
