
A Vine Grove man has been arrested on charges related to a child sexual abuse material investigation.
As the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation, 35 year-old Christopher E. Sharp was arrested on Friday (05/16) afternoon.
The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering Sharp was requesting sexually explicit material from a young juvenile while online.
The investigation resulted in an interview with Christopher Sharp on May 16, 2025. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to Kentucky State Police’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is still ongoing.
Sharp is currently charged with three counts of procuring or promoting the use of a minor by an electronic means. This charge is a Class-C felony punishable by five to ten years in prison. Christopher
He was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center under a $25,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 23.
