
A woman was arrested on multiple drug and firearm charges during a custodial interference investigation on May 15, 2025.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in the 8000 block of Cemetery Road, according to a news release.
While on scene, a silver Lexus arrived, and the driver, identified as 30 year-old Aurea E. Hernandez of Antioch, claimed to be the cousin of a missing juvenile.
Deputies say a search of Aurea Hernandez’s vehicle uncovered a stolen Glock 42 pistol, cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia on May 15, 2025, in Warren County.
Deputies reported a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Hernandez admitted to having an empty marijuana package but denied possessing anything else.
A probable cause search of the vehicle uncovered a stolen Glock 42 pistol, cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and trafficking amounts of narcotics, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Hernandez was charged with:
Trafficking in a controlled substance (Cocaine, Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Marijuana) – Enhanced
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Receiving a stolen firearm
Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
She is being held in the Warren County Regional Jail under a $25,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 20.
The investigation is ongoing.
