A man surrendered himself to a SWAT team after barricading himself in a home in Fern Creek Saturday evening.
SWAT responded to a house in the 9200 block of Vevey Road at around 6:30 p.m. on May 24.
Inside the home was suspect 20 year-old Jayden Smith, who surrendered himself to police around 11:10 p.m. without further incident.
Smith is being charged with burglary first degree, menacing, criminal mischief second degree, and theft by unlawful taking.
He was lodged in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
