
A Dawson Springs woman was arrested Monday night following a traffic stop.
At 10:17 p.m., Christian County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with a broken taillight near Fort Campbell Boulevard.
The driver, 45-year-old Christy Hale, was found to have an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle and an active felony warrant out of Hopkins County.
A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a substance believed to be methamphetamine.
Hale was charged with No Tail Lamps; Excessive Windshield/Window Tinting; No Registration Receipt; Improper Display of Registration Plates; Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage Container in a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 3rd or Greater Offense (Methamphetamine).
She was lodged in the Christian County Jail under a $6,500 cash bond.
