A man was arrested after an alleged stabbing at Ford’s Kentucky Truck Plant Friday, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.
LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said officers responded to the plant on Chamberlain Lane around 8 a.m. on a report of a stabbing that had happened earlier in the morning.
Officials said two independent contractors that work at the plant had apparently been fighting when one of them stabbed the other.
The victim was taken to UofL Hospital and was later released, according to Mitchell.
The suspect, Yosvani Gonzales Diaz, was taken to Metro Corrections Friday evening and is charged with assault. His bond has been set at $15,000.
LMPD is handling the ongoing investigation.
