A man was arrested after attacking two people with a knife over the weekend.
Madison County deputies were called to Owsley Fork Road on a report of a stabbing Saturday night.
Deputies say they found two people with multiple stab wounds upon arrival.
Emergency responders treated one man at the scene, while a woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials say the suspect, James Cochran, ran away before they arrived.
Kentucky State Police says he was found and arrested after an alert was issued for his vehicle.
Officials say Cochran is facing charges of attempted murder and assault in the first degree.
