A shooting in the Algonquin neighborhood has left a juvenile in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Louisville Metro Police responded to a call of a shooting in the 1600 block of Bulger Court at 8:35 p.m. on Saturday, June 14.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a juvenile male outside suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS took the victim to UofL Hospital where his injuries were deemed critical and life-threatening.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit has taken over this investigation due to the nature of the injuries. Detectives are still unsure of a possible motive. There are no suspects at this time.
