
Kentucky State Police are searching for an Elizabethtown man who walked away from the Bluegrass Career and Development Center in Madison County Sunday evening.
Police said 28 year-old Jarod Barnes is described as a Black male, 5’9″ tall, weighing 206 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white tank top, black sweatpants, and white tennis shoes. He also has several tattoos on his chest and arms.
State Police said Barnes was serving a sentence on multiple charges including engaging in organized crime-criminal syndicate and meth trafficking. He is known to frequent Elizabethtown, Jefferson, Hardin and surrounding counties.
Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or their local law enforcement.
