
Two people are in the hospital after their car was shot up in the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood early Wednesday morning.
Louisville Metro Police officers were flagged down in the parking lot of the Waffle House on Cane Run Road by those two people, a man and woman, who told them they were in their car on Dixie Highway when it was shot up. The man had a bullet wound in his hip and the woman had a laceration on her leg.
Louisville Metro Police went to the scene to investigate and found the car in question with bullet holes in it, down the road from Holy Cross High School.
Both people were taken to UofL Hospital and are expected to live. Louisville Metro Police Department asks that if anybody has information on this incident to call its anonymous crime tip line at 502-574-LMPD.
