The Kentucky State Police Post 03 in Bowling Green received a request for assistance from the Barren County Sheriff’s Office regarding a death investigation just before 10 p.m. Thursday (09/04).
Troopers responded to a residence on East Third Street, where they discovered a deceased female with an apparent gunshot wound.
Following a preliminary investigation, 40 year-old Thomas J. Orlando, of Glasgow, was taken into custody and has been charged with Murder-Domestic Violence and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree.
Orlando is being held in the Barren County Detention Center under a $1,000,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on September 11.
The investigation is ongoing by the Kentucky State Police.
