A man who police describe as having “a violent criminal history” has been arrested in connection with two armed robberies in Jeffersontown.
Chad A. Harlamert, 24, of Louisville, was taken into custody October 9 by Jeffersontown police. He is charged with two counts of first degree robbery and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Arrest citations say on October 7, police believe Harlamert was armed with a small handgun and robbed the pharmacy counter of the Walgreens at 2360 Stony Brook Drive. The suspect demanded and received from the pharmacist two bottles of Alprazolam. The suspect got into a Ford EcoSport that was seen heading onto Stony Brook Drive.
Two days later, police say Harlamert was responsible for the armed robbery of Miso’s Gameroom and Collectibles, located less than 700 feet from Walgreens.
According to court documents, video surveillance footage from the robberies put Harlamert in the area at the time they were committed.
When Harlamert was arrested at his home, police recovered the medication and a fanny pack worn by the suspect in the Walgreens robbery along with a Ruger .22 caliber revolver that matched the weapon used. Also recovered were clothing and items taken during the Miso’s Gameroom robbery.
Not guilty pleas were entered for Harlamert during his arraignment. Bond has been set at $50,000 cash.
