
A 28 year-old Morgantown man was arrested Sunday (10/12) after Kentucky State Police along with the Butler County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence located at 915 Orange Cemetery Road in Morgantown to assist the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
Upon arrival, law enforcement detected the odor of marijuana coming from a vehicle on the property and from the residence. The Butler County Sheriff’s Office then obtained a search warrant for the residence. A search of the residence yielded suspected marijuana, THC and synthetic THC products, and currency.
Keeton Martin was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (8oz to <5lbs) 1st Offense, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Drug Paraphernalia Buy-Possess and Wanton Endangerment- 1st Degree. Martin was transported and lodged in the Butler County Jail.
This investigation is ongoing by the Kentucky State Police.
