
Troopers of the Kentucky State Police Post 3 along with the Butler County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence on Caney Fork Road in Morgantown in an attempt to serve an arrest warrant on Sunday (10/12).
Upon arrival, law enforcement made contact with multiple people in an R.V. located on the property. Law Enforcement Officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from the R.V. During a search of the R.V., officers located suspected fentanyl, multiple scales, and currency.
Monica Morgan, 44 of Fredonia and Jachob Adams, 23 of Russellville, were arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl), 1st Offense; Drug Paraphernalia Buy\Posses and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Morgan and Adams were both lodged in the Butler County Jail. This investigation is ongoing by the Kentucky State Police.
