Two men have been arrested as part of an ongoing cattle theft investigation.
The Metcalfe County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement/Special Investigations Section has been conducting a long-term investigation regarding reported cattle thefts throughout Barren, Hart, Hardin and Metcalfe counties.
After several interviews and multiple search warrants, two people were indicted in Hardin Circuit Court for the following offenses:
32-year-old Robert C. White of Edmonton:
Engaging in Organized Crime
Theft By Deception – Include Cold Checks $1000 < $10,000 (Complicity)
38-year-old Jeremy C. White of Hardyville:
Engaging in Organized Crime
Theft By Deception – Include Cold Checks $1000 < $10,000 (Complicity)
This investigation remains ongoing as additional arrests may follow. Metcalfe County Chief Deputy Jarrod Steele is leading the investigation.
