Louisville Metro Police have announced the arrest of a woman in connection to a double homicide last month in Okolona.
Jazmine Brown, 22, was arrested on October 20 and charged with two counts of complicity to murder and one count of receiving stolen property.
Police said her arrest is in connection to the two young men who were shot and killed at the Falcon Crest Apartments in the 9000 block of Napa Valley Court on September 29.
Brown appeared in court on Tuesday, October 21. The complaint states that Brown planned and had three unknown co-defendants kill two people.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, Brown was communicating with three suspected shooters right before the shooting. Police say Brown told them the door to the apartment was unlocked and the victims were inside asleep. Police say Brown showed up to the apartment after the shooting and told officers she and the victims were roommates.
Police say a handgun that was reported stolen was allegedly found hidden in Brown’s closet.
Brown’s bond was set to $1-million. She is set to reappear in court on October 29.
