A four-vehicle crash Friday morning along North Jackson Highway sent one driver to the hospital and damaged a utility pole, according to the Glasgow Police Department.
The collision happened around 10:28 a.m. near Steeplechase Road, close to the Dollar General.
Police said an SUV was turning left from the northbound lanes into a nearby driveway when a van stopped behind it. A third vehicle then rear-ended the van, forcing it into the southbound lanes.
The van overturned and struck a pickup truck traveling southbound before hitting an SCRTC utility pole, which required extensive repairs.
The van’s driver was flown to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver and children in the pickup truck were not injured, and police said everyone was wearing seatbelts.
