A custodian for the McLean County School District is in jail on child sexual abuse charges.
Jail records show 54-year-old Lloyd Vanover, of Rumsey, was booked into the Daviess County Detention Center Tuesday.
He is charged with sexual abuse of a child and distribution of obscene matter to minors.
Online employment records show Vanover has been a custodian for the district since at least 2020.
Kentucky State Police say the victim is not connected to Vanover’s role with the school.
He is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.
