A man is dead after a crash on I-71 South near Zorn Avenue around 3 a.m. Saturday (11/15), according to Louisville Metro Police Department.
Police said their initial investigation showed a semi-truck was stopped in traffic due to a semi that had rolled over earlier. A pick-up truck then hit the back of the stopped semi.
The driver of the pick-up was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi was taken to UofL Hosptial as a precaution, according to police.
LMPD’s Traffic Unit is investigating.
