A man was arrested Friday (11/14) following a deadly motor vehicle crash that happened on November 1.
According to the Bowling Green Police Department, officers responded to the scene in the 2300 block of Russellville Road where they found Asenda Lotemba had died from injuries in the crash.
An investigation revealed that 20-year-old Imata Songola, of Bowling Green, was driving a vehicle that crossed the center line and hit the vehicle Lotemba was in.
Songola was injured in the incident and taken to UofL Hospital for treatment.
Following his release from the hospital, authorities took Songola into custody.
He has been charged with Vehicular Homicide While Under the Influence of Alcohol and Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence. He is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail under a $1,000,000 cash bond.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing by the Bowling Green Police Department.
