UPS has provided a list of resources for anybody affected by the deadly plane crash that happened on November 4.
The company has brought in McLarens, an insurance adjuster, to handle claims for damages sustained as a result of that plane crash.
To submit a claim, send an email to UPS2976@mclarens.com that includes your name, address, phone number, email address and a description of the damage sustained from the crash, including bodily injuries, property damage, etc.
If possible, McLarens ask that you include photographs of any property damage, medical bills or any other documents to support your claim.
Once the claim has been submitted, the company will review and contact you to provide you with a claim number and may request additional information and documentation to assist with their review of your claim.
McLarens also said to contact your own insurer for information about coverage and compensation.
UPS has provided a hotline for in-the-moment emotional support and held finding mental health services. That number is 1-833-327-2386.
There is also the UPS Community Resource Center at 200 High Rise Drive. That center covers a broad spectrum of needs, including those injured or who have lost loved ones due to the crash. Multi-lingual assistance is available.
To schedule an appointment, call 502-473-5271.
