
The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-1 tornado hit a portion of Todd County, Kentucky during the overnight storms on Saturday.
The National Weather Service said the EF-1 touched down just north of Guthrie around 12:38 a.m. It produced an estimated peak wind speed of 98 miles per hour.
The tornado snapped several trees and destroyed a small outbuilding along with other small buildings nearby. Additionally, several power poles were snapped along Highway 79.
According to the National Weather Service, the tornado traveled 1.65 miles and reached the maximum width of 75 yards.
No injuries or fatalities were reported in the storm.
