Betty Rae Brookshire Curry, age 93 of Brandenburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Story Point Retirement Community in Middletown, KY.
She was born on February 5, 1932, in Taylorsville, KY to the late Guy Hughes Brookshire and Minnie Belle Monroe Brookshire. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Earl Curry; and siblings, Hugh Brookshire, Glenna Robinson, Wilma Stump, Allen Brookshire, Marge Henry, Frank Brookshire, Pauline Henry, Cecil Brookshire, and Anna Tindall.

Funeral Services will be held at Ekron Baptist Church at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Burial will follow in the Ekron Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
