A man is dead after a shooting in the Parkland neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Officers responded to a call at 3:07 p.m. of a shooting in the 1400 block of Catalpa Street on Friday, November 28.
At the scene, officers found a man who had been shot and attempted first aid treatment until EMS arrived. The victim was declared dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
Early Saturday, Louisville Metro Police Department announced the arrest of an unnamed male juvenile in connection to the shooting. He has been charged with murder, fleeing or evading police, possession of a handgun by a minor and carrying a concealed weapon.
Police said that no other details were currently available.
