A woman was hit and killed by a truck while lying in a field Friday afternoon in the 12000 block of Pilot Rock Road in Christian County.
According to Christian County sheriff’s deputies, 72-year-old Sheila Faughn was lying on the ground when a truck driving through the field hit her.
Faughn was reportedly having a mental health crisis before lying on the ground.
Deputies said the truck driver was reportedly looking for Faughn in the field when the incident occurred.
