A woman is dead after a house fire in the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood early Friday morning.
A spokesperson for Louisville Metro Arson said that the Pleasure Ridge Park Fire Department responded to a call of a fire around 2:40 a.m. Friday, November 28, to find a home on Alameter Court engulfed in flames.
Firefighters found the woman inside the home and she was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
