A man was taken into custody on Friday after being charged with a December shooting that took place outside of a south Louisville bar.
Louisville Metro Police’s Violent Crime Unit took 38 year-old Jose Pisani Gonzalez into custody on Friday, January 16, who is accused of shooting a man outside of Union Station Bar on December 28, 2025.
According to arrest documents, Pisani and the victim got into a physical altercation before Pisani went to his car to grab his handgun and shot the victim in the bar parking lot. Pisani then fled the scene before police arrived.
The victim was transported to the hospital by EMS and is expected to survive.
Police say Pisani and the victim knew each other before the incident, and that the suspect has a history of failing to appear in court.
Pisani is being charged with assault and firearms discharge prohibited.
