David Carroll Allgood, 72, died Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
He was born August 6, 1953 to the late Curtiss and Katherine Hunt Allgood. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Jane Ann Leggett.
He is survived by his wife: Terry Ritchie Allgood;
Six children: David Carroll Allgood II “D.C.” and Deidra Allgood Sherrard, both of Ekron, Dana Allgood Hockman of Brandenburg, Curtis Cochran and Brad Cochran, both of Elizabethtown and Heath Lehman of Clarksville, TN;
Nineteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg. Burial will follow in Buck Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.
