
Louisville Metro Police confirm they have made an arrest in connection with a non-fatal shooting that took place in November of 2025.
On Saturday, February 7, police arrested 50 year-old Theodore Freeman in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred on November 1, 2025, in the 1700 block of Berry Boulevard within LMPD’s Fourth Division.
According to officials, on November 1, 2025, Freeman fired multiple rounds at Stefon Dixon, striking him once. The victim was working as a DJ at an event when he got into an argument. Police say that Freeman walked away from the altercation, retrieve his gun and fired multiple rounds at Dixon, who was struck in the stomach.
Dixon was taken to the hospital where he had surgery for life-threatening injuries but he did survive.
Freeman was booked into Louisville Metro Department of Corrections on an Assault in the First Degree warrant, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, as well as an unrelated warrant out of New Albany, Indiana.
He was expected to have his initial court appearance Monday.
