
A 15-year-old has been charged in connection with two armed robberies in Oldham County.
According to a statement from Oldham County Police, officers responded to a call for the first of the two robberies on March 11, 2026, at the A One Food Mart in the 8900 block of West Highway.
Reportedly, the suspect entered with a gun and demanded money before fleeing from the scene eastbound on foot.
Police responded to the second robbery at around 12:24 a.m. on March 21, 2026, at Vintage Wine and Spirits in the 7600 block of East Orchard Boulevard.
Oldham County Police Department said the clerk was robbed at gunpoint by the suspect, who then fled into the surrounding neighborhood.
The 15-year-old suspect was taken into custody on March 27, 2026, and is charged with robbery and wanton endangerment.
The suspect’s name has not been made public due to their age.
