
Multiple agencies responded to a house fire in Warren County on Saturday night.
Crews were dispatched just before 10 p.m. Saturday night to the fire, which was on Prescott Court off of Memphis Junction Road.
Personnel from Bowling Green, Browning, Woodburn, Barren River and Hadley Fire Departments all responded to the fire.
While on the way to the fire, crews could see just how quickly the fire was spreading.
Due to the fire spreading very quickly, Bowling Green Fire Department sent 2 more trucks along with a Battalion Chief to the scene to help with manpower.
The first responders on scene and found a one-story duplex fully engulfed. Crews quickly deployed multiple attack lines and searched through the residence.
Bowling Green Fire Department Truck 4 was able to then use its aerial master stream to knock down the bulk of the fire while other crews were inside extinguishing remaining hotspots.
A total of 2 families were displaced by the fire. Three children and 3 adults were affected, and 1 adult male was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The American Red Cross is assisting the families.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
