A man is dead after crashing his vehicle into a tree in the Highview neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Officers responded to a call at around 9:29 p.m. of a single vehicle crash in the area of South Watterson Trail and Stone Bluff Road on Thursday, April 23.
At the scene, police found a man with severe injuries after colliding with a tree. He was taken to UofL Hospital by EMS, where he was eventually pronounced dead.
LMPD’s Traffic Unit is leading the investigation.
