
The all clear has been given after a bomb threat caused an evacuation of the Louisville Zoo Saturday morning.
According to Kyle Shepherd, a Zoo spokesperson, the threat was called in to Louisville Metro Police Department around 9 a.m.
Shepherd said at the time, there were 173 members of a walking club in the Zoo along with approximately 60 employees. Those inside the zoo were evacuated to Joe Creason Park.
With the all clear given, Shepherd said the Zoo opened at 11 a.m., one hour later than normal.
Louisville Metro Police Department is continuing to investigate the threat.
