A Falls of Rough man has pleaded guilty in connection with the kidnapping and armed robbery of a local realtor in Grayson County, according to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say the incident happened June 18, 2025, when the realtor was showing a home to a “would-be” buyer identified as Keith Rowe. Authorities say Rowe threatened to kill the victim, took the victim’s cellphone under threat of death and assaulted the realtor during the showing. The victim was able to escape and drive to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office to report what happened.
Sheriff Norman Chaffins said the events were captured on owner-installed cameras. Rowe pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, third-degree terroristic threatening and fourth-degree assault. He was sentenced to 15 years, including five years of probation and six months of home incarceration. Officials said Rowe is barred from entering Grayson County and is ordered to have no contact with the victim unless directed by the court.
