A woman was seriously injured in a boating accident on a Kentucky lake Friday.
Emergency personnel responded to Lake Barkley near Bachman Turner Drive for a boating accident, according to Trigg County Officials.
At the scene, officials found a 20-year-old woman unconscious who was suffering from a severe leg injury caused by a boat propeller.
The 20-year-old was given CPR and rushed to a hospital by ambulance after helicopters were grounded by weather.
The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife is investigating the incident.
