Two days after asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspected arsonist in and around La Grange, an arrest has been made in relation to the investigation.
Christopher J. Clark, 51, is facing five felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief, according to court documents.
According to his arrest citation, La Grange Police say Clark set fires to the dumpsters located behind five separate businesses within La Grange city limits between September 7 and September 26.
The value of the damage is stated to be $2,000 per dumpster.
Police say there is video evidence of Clark, and he was positively identified by a family member.
