Two Taken To Hospital After Wreck
Two people were taken to the hospital after a late afternoon accident Tuesday. According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Department, a two vehicle accident happened just after 5 pm Tuesday at the intersection of Kentucky 448 and 1638. A 2010 Toyota Corolla driven by 44 year-old Joseph Greenwell of Irvington was traveling south on Kentucky 448 and attempted to make a left turn into a business and failed to see the oncoming northbound 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor driven by 46 year-old Anita Raisor of Vine Grove. Greenwell proceeded to make the turn and struck Raisor’s vehicle. Both Greenwell and Raisor were taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital by Meade County EMS for their injuries. The Meade County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Brandenburg Police and the Meade County Fire Department. The roadway was blocked about a half hour as crews worked to clean up the scene. … [Read more...]
