A Brandenburg woman was sent to the hospital Monday night (11/3) after a single vehicle accident. According to Meade County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 8:30 pm near the intersection of Old Ekron Road and Shumate Road in Ekron.
A vehicle driven by 18 year-old Veronica Davis of Brandenburg, went off of the roadway and struck a utility pole. Davis was taken to Harrison County Hospital by Meade County EMS for possible injuries to her chest and ankle. The Ekron Fire Department assisted at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
