A woman died Wednesday afternoon following a crash on Nicholas Street in Elizabethtown.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was driving a 1995 Buick, when it crashed into a U.S. Postal Service vehicle while driving west, according to witness accounts to the Elizabethtown Police. The accident happened near the access to US 62.
The driver of the Buick was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital where she was later pronounced dead by the Hardin County Coroner’s Office. The investigation of the accident remains ongoing.
