A accident Monday (11/23) morning resulted with the arrest of the driver in Meade County. The accident happened around 10:30 am along Old Ekron Road about a quarter mile south of the Bypass near Brandenburg.
A vehicle driven by 38 year-old Amanda Adams when she went of the roadway and struck a utility pole. Adams refused medical treatment at the scene.
Upon the investigation at the scene, Adams was arrested on charges of criminal mischief first degree; posession of drug paraphanialia; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol; possesion of synthetic drugs; and wanton endangerment first degree.
Adams was lodged in the Meade County Detention Center. The case remains under investugation by the Meade County Sheriff’s Department.
