Two people were injured after a head-on accident last week in Meade County. According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Department, teh accident happened around 1:15 pm Wednesday (11/18) along Highway 79 in Midway.
A silver 2002 Mazda Familia driven by 32 year-old Brandin Fraley of Guston was traveling north along Highway 79 when he crossed into the southbound lanes a struck a 2015 Toyota Avalon driven by 64 year-old Larry Gateley of Huron, Tenneessee. Fraley’s car spun around and came to a rest on the shoulder of the southbound lanes. Fraley and a passenger, 22 year-old Marsha Greenwell of Webster was taken to University Of Louisville Hospital for non life-threatening injuries by Meade County EMS. Gateley and his passenger were not injured.
