The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says an overnight blaze has caused major damage to a rest area along southbound Interstate 65.
Cabinet spokesman Chris Jessie said in a statement the fire was reported about 2 a.m. on Tuesday at the rest area in Hart County. He said the facility is closed to the public and will remain so until further notice.
Kentucky State Police Arson Investigators have determined the fire was a result of an electrical issue.
