A traffic stop in Hopkinsville lead to the arrest of three people on Sunday.
Kentucky State Police observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lane of US 41 just before 10:30 p.m. the vehicle was occupied by three people from Evansville, Indiana.
A K-9 unit was called in from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department and alerted on the vehicle, leading troopers to find around 4 pounds of suspected marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, and cash.
Antwan T. Pugh, Jr. and Michael David Chester were each charged with Trafficking marijuana, 8 oz. or less than 5 lbs. and Drug paraphernalia – Buy/Possess.
Amber Dawn Tinsley was charged with Careless driving, no operator’s license, Trafficking marijuana, 8 oz. or less than 5 lbs., and Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess.
All three were arrested and lodged in the Christian County Jail.
