
A traffic stop in Hardin County early Friday morning (1/22) led to the arrest of two fugitives from Alabama.
Kentucky State Police, along with a Hardin County Deputy Sheriff, stopped a U-Haul truck traveling northbound on Interstate 65 at the 90 mile marker after being alerted by the Kentucky State Post 3 in Bowling Green of a vehicle thought to contain suspects wanted in connection to a robbery in Mobile, Alabama.
Jessica Harris, 21, and Sharika Sanders, 24, both of Mobile, Alabama were taken into custody without incident and charged with being a fugitive from another state. Harris was also charged with operating on a suspended license and child restraint violations.
Three children, ages 6, 4 years and 1 month, were also in the vehicle. They were placed in the custody of Social Services.
