
Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown continues to investigate a shooting involving officers from the Shepherdsville Police Department and a Shepherdsville man.
On Friday, February 26, 2016, at approximately 5 p.m. officers from the Shepherdsville Police Department responded to a complaint of a suicidal man armed with a gun and standing in a field off Nancy Drive.
Responding police units attempted to negotiate and gave verbal commands for several minutes before 30 year-old Christopher S. Lindsey pointed the weapon at officers.
Shepherdsville officers were forced to fire at the subject striking him in the abdomen. He was transported to University Of Louisville Hospital where he is listed in serious but stable condition.
Christopher Lindsey is charged with six counts of Wanton Endangerment of a Police Officer 1st Degree.
